Connie Ko

Connie got her start in dog training volunteering at the humane society as a trainers' assistant while working full-time as a graphic designer. After a few years of volunteering she began teaching group obedience classes to the public in 2018 and decided to quit her full-time job to pursue a career in dog training. Now, she is teaching and assisting at a few different facilities and working a few cases on the side. Her main area of expertise is in basic obedience and puppy training. Facilitating better communication and empathy between pet dogs and their families is among her top priorities as a trainer, as she believes many sources of conflict in the home are due to interspecies miscommunication. Connie lives in Mountain View with her husband (Alan), their dog (Laika), and their two cats (Tuna and Oatis).
